Claim System: FNOL

To provide the fastest service to your clients and our policyholders, we ask that you use our convenient online claims system to notify us of any losses. The First Notice of Loss (FNOL for short) will gather the information necessary for us to quickly, efficiently, and correctly process claims for our policyholders.

To start an FNOL, please log into Bankers Agent Portal, access your client's policy through Policy Processing, and click on REPORT LOSS on the right side menu bar.

Complete the necessary information as the system requests; information will vary depending upon the policy type and the loss type (property vs liability). Please remember that if the claim you are submitting is a catastrophe loss, be sure to indicate as such.

When you submit the claim, the system will provide you with an assigned claim number that you should record in your files and provide to the insured. As a benefit of the online process, the claim will be automatically assigned to an adjuster.

The assigned adjuster will contact the policyholder as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that in the event of large scale devastation, claims are triaged and those policyholders with the worst damage will be contacted first. However, we always strive to contact all policyholders with losses within 72 hours of receiving the claim. Our wide network of claims experts allows us to provide localized, professional services quickly and efficiently, even in the worst of conditions.

Did you know policyholders can file a claim online, anytime, anywhere through Bankers Consumer portal? To set up an account, go to bankersinsurance.com, click ‘Customer Login’ (upper right on screen), Enter email address as user name and enter a password. A verification email will be sent. Click ‘Verify’ within the email. Login to the portal with your user name (email) and password you entered previously. Enter your policy number and zip code, then ‘Click Link Policy’, follow the prompts.

Once you have filed the claim, remember to advise your client that there are specific things that they should and should not do. Be sure to review all necessary information with them, and be sure that they have our claims phone number should they have any specific questions regarding their claim and policy.
